Cueto Mañín

El primer día de las vacaciones, y una ruta no demasiado exigente, tras semanas sin ir a andar. Desde la
carretera que sube de Reinosa a la estación de esquí se ve la Sierra de Peña Labra, con el Cueto Mañín a la izquierda. Ese coto era el objetivo del día, pero subiendo desde el lado Palentino:
First day's holiday and a relatively gentle walk, after two months' inaction. The mountain on the left is Cueto Mañín - here seen from Cantabria on the way up to the ski station. I turned off to the left soon afterwards, to start the walk in the neighbouring province of Palencia:

Al Cueto Mañín se llega fácilmente, bajando hacia Seldelafuente para luego subir hacia la derecha. Se ve como la sierra continúa hacia el oeste culminando en Peña Labra
All I had to do was walk down to the valley then head up towards the right to get to the top

Antes de volver a Golobar bajé hacia la laguna para explorar un poco. Al ver las nubes cargadas de agua dimos la vuelta y para cuando llegamos al coche llevaba diez minutos lloviendo.

Before going back to the car we walked down past the pool. Rain clouds were on their way though, so we soon turned back, and by the time we got back to base it had already been raining ten minutes.
