Un mirador natural/ a natural vantage point

Hacía mucho tiempo que no hacía una ruta por la Sierra de Cuera, y nunca había visitado Asiegu.

Desde el pueblo veíamos las nubes que cubrían Arenas de Cabrales

I hadn't done a walk in the Cuera range for a long time and had never been to Asiegu.

From this village we could see the clouds covering nearby Arenas de Cabrales

Ya se ve el Urriellu desde el aparcamiento

From the carpark you can see the most famous mountain in Picos de Europa (just to the right of the post)

Subimos hacia la parte alta del pueblo

We walked up through the village

Una subida por camino de cemento

Up a cement track we walked

Cruzamos rápidamente a ese pico y teníamos mejor panorama del mar de nubes que cubría el mar de verdad

We quickly reached that one and had a better view of the sea of clouds that impeded us from seeing the real sea

A medida que el sol se movía hacia el poniente las siluetas se tornaban más precisas

As the sun moved towards the east, the silhouettes became clearer

Después de un buen rato contemplando de las vistas, bajamos

After a good while gazing at the views, we made our way down 

y seguíamos disfrutando de la panorama que nos brindaba esta sierra, que queda entre la costa y los Picos

and carried on enjoying the skyline. The Cuera range lies parallel to the coast and between this and the Picos de Europa, so it's a great vantage point

This pool was an odd addition to the scenery
