Picos Jun '10

Two walks in the second half of June, neither of which were completely satisfactory as I didn't get to the summit but enjoyable all the same.
Dos rutas de la 2ª mitad de junio.

at the end of the walk you cross the river, which was flowing healthily after a lot of recent rain
después de bajar se cruza el Urdón, con bastante agua después de tanta lluvia






the second hike was a lot longer, on a hot day, setting out from lake Enol, 2 hour's drive from Bezana
la segunda ruta era mucho más larga, desde el lago Enol por encima de Covadonga

from there I tried to find a way up to Cotalba - the westernmost 2000 mt. summit in Picos but the cairns didn't lead to an obvious ascent
desde allí intenté encontrar la subida a Cotalba - el último dosmil de los Picos hacia el oeste - pero los hitos eran muy confusos - hitos de puta como dice alguno

this option looked too risky
un hito indicaba la subida por aquí pero me parecía un poco arriesgado
