Pyrenees August 2009

Work and weather have meant no walking in January 2011 so here's a look back at the summer of 2009 when I went to the Catalan Pyrenees.


First some photos of a walk up the Peguera Valley to the "Estany Negre". "Estany" means lake in Catalan, and as you'll see from these photos, there are an awful lot of them in the "Aigüestortes" (twisted waters), which is the name of this National Park :
