Me debían un día de vacaciones y pensé aprovecharlo antes de posibles restricciones de movimiento. Volví a una zona que empecé a explorar hace dos meses. Salí esta vez de Lebeña, siguiendo las indicaciones del Camino Lebaniego. En una curva donde está el depósito de agua de El Valle me aparté de la pista y subí por una senda detrás del depósito.
I decided to take a day off work before travel restrictions came into effect and returned to an area I was exploring a couple of months previously. Setting off from Lebeña I followed the Lebaniego Way arrows out of the village. At a bend to the left stands the El Valle water deposit. Here I left the track and took a path behind the building.

It looked as if I might be unlucky with the weather again, as there had also been low-lying cloud in the summer
Sin embargo, atravesé el estrato y vi como el encinar se hacía robledal
However, I went through the stratus and saw that the holm oaks had given way to another member of the genus
Y a medida que subía tenía buena vista del mar de nubes que cubría el Desfiladero
And as I got higher, I got a good view of the sea of clouds that covered the Hermida Gorge
Dejé la pista donde empieza a llanear y continué hacia arriba por un sendero que arranca donde una pintada en la roca que indica Arcedón
I left the track just where it starts to level off. The name of the destination "Arcedón" has been painted on a rock at the foot of the path I took
Acercándome al Collado Arcedón veo esta haya que empieza a vestirse de otoño
Nearing the Arcedón Pass, I spy this beech that's beginning to don its autumn wear
Al salir al collado subo a la derecha para ver las vistas desde el Cueto Torcal (1100mts). El sol ha quemado la nube, y deja ver el macizo oriental de Picos, y abajo Lebeña. Más cerca se ven una pequeña laguna (centro) que había visto durante la subida, y las invernales de Lebeña (der).
When I came out onto the high ground, I headed up to the right to take in the
views from Cueto Torcal. The sun had gone to work on the cloud and I
could see Lebeña down in the valley below the eastern massif of Picos.

En lugar de seguir el PR S3 voy hacia los invernales de Arcedón y de ahí bajo al NE hacia Cordanca. Por aquí hay un sendero estrecho bastante claro pero a veces incómodo
Instead of following the PR-S3 route (which has been left unattended with the advent of the Lebaniego Way) I made my way to the huts near Arecdón and from there NE down to Cordanca by means of a narrow path that is the least straightforward part of the excursion |

Al final salgo a una pista que me llevará a Cicera y que conecta con el PR-S3, que parece estar en desuso
Eventually I come out on a track that will take me down to Cicera, and which connects up with the PR-S3

No me detengo en Cicera, ya que estuve en verano, y cojo el Camino Lebaniego a través del hayedo. A diferencia de agosto, esta vez tengo buenas vistas
I don't stop in Cicera as I was there in the summer, and take the Lebaniego Way through the beech wood. Unlike in August, this time round there are good views of the surrounding mountainsides to be had

Cuando llego a las primeras Invernales de Lebeña dejo la pista que había subido y paso por una puerta para coger un ramal señalizado de PR y así bajar por otro camino

En un cruce más abajo voy por la derecha para no repetir con lo andado en la subida y llego al depósito de agua antes de entrar en el pueblo
At a fork lower down I turned right so as not to repeat the morning trail and walked down to the water deposit and from there on to Lebeña
