A walk along the coast

Rain was forecast in the mountains inland on the day I had pencilled in for going walking, so I decided to follow the coastline from Noja to Santoña towards the east of Cantabria instead.

When I started my walk along the beach at Noja it looked like glorious weather - it actually got too warm as the day progressed








At the end of the beach there's a path over the hill to get to the other side

and a view of Berria beach with the Buciero mountain on the other side. My idea was to climb the summit you can see on the right


after crossing the beach and skirting Santoña, I took a road that goes towards the Buciero before taking this photo just below the final ascent


It was a hazy day but the views from the top were still worth seeing - Laredo just below
